COUNTESS ANNE PRIMARY SCHOOL, HATFIELD

The project involves providing a master plan to gain funding for new, modern sports and educational facilities for the Countess Anne Primary School and the local community.

A new contemporary sports pavilion and classroom, overlook the all-weather football pitches and a running track. The pavilion is set in extensive landscaping providing a new natural habitat for both education and recreation.

The pavilion is designed with a contemporary lightweight grid structure made with green oak sourced from the local Hatfield House Estate. The open grid structure and glass skin maximises natural daylight to give an enlightening and uplifting environment in which to learn and watch sports.
